Julie's Interests

Welcome to my page. Hopefully here you can see some of my accomplishments & things I enjoy doing. What you should know about me is (1) I'm the quiet, shy one. The one that likes to hide in the background working quietly away, (2) I am very busy with our home-based businesses, taking active responsibility to get the word out thru internet marketing.
I am responsible for building our websites, search engine optimization and marketing them. Basically, 3 full time jobs, 4 if you count being a wife & mother. But doing this brings me a lot of joy, esp. when my accomplishes come to life & successfully bring in business thru sales of product or someone joining one of our network marketing teams.
I got into building websites & marketing on the internet mainly because someone told me "No".
You see when Dan & I started network marketing, the internet was starting to boom. One of the other network marketing teams within the company we represented, had put together a very good internet marketing replicated website. I realized that marketing on the internet was the way to build a great marketing business. So I wanted to learn how, when I approached the owners, I was told that I couldn't use their system because I wasn't in there downline.
That was the beginning. Don't tell me "No". I'll figure a way to do it. So I started teaching myself html, xhtml, css, paintshop pro, fireworks, photoshop, dreamweaver, cPanel, etc. I also took classes and learned about web design, and SEO. I became my own Webmaster, which has resulted in sales of our products.
Every time, I build a website, I make it a goal to learn something new. I have been working on the web now about 10 years now & still learning every day. I am proud to show off my portfolio here.
My Dolls
Another interest I have is Porcelain Doll making. I am very proud that the 1st 2 dolls I ever made even won awards at the national Doll convention in Orlando, Fl. in 1987. My 1st doll won 2nd place & my 2nd doll won 1st place. Since then, I have made dolls as gifts & even sold one. I would make more, but I'm too busy learning computer related information.
